Comptes Rendus

A Diamond Open Access for Comptes Rendus Mécanique

A free publication for both readers and authors

Articles published in Comptes Rendus Mécanique are available on a free, immediate and permanent basis, also known as Diamond Open Access:

  • Submission and publication: no submission or publication fees (Article Processing Charge or APC) are charged to authors or their institutions for the submission, review, editing and publication of their article;
  • Consultation and download: no subscription fees are charged to consult the full text of articles online, nor is any financial contribution required to download articles.

Support and partners

Comptes Rendus Mécanique is published since 2020 in partnership with the centre Mersenne, a diamond open access scientific publishing infrastructure developed by Mathdoc, a support and research unit of CNRS and Université Grenoble Alpes. The centre Mersenne provides all the publishing tools and services that enable the editorial teams of Comptes Rendus Mécanique to manage, produce and distribute their publications.

Even if it is free for the readers as well as for the authors, the publication in open access diamond represents a significant cost for the editors. This virtuous economic model is made possible thanks to the recurrent technical, human and financial support of several institutions and research funders:

The French Academy of Sciences
The Simone and Cino Del Duca Foundation
