Dans cette Note, nous présentons des obstructions topologiques à l'existence, sur une variété lisse de dimension ⩾4, de distributions régulières non-intégrables de rang 2. En particulier, nous retrouvons les résultats de Buemi dans les cas où la distribution est de classe (A) et de type (s0,1,1,…,1,2) avec s0=0 ou 1.

In this Note, we present topological obstructions to the existence of a regular non-integrable rank 2 distribution on a smooth manifold of dimension ⩾4. In particular, we recover the topological obstructions uncovered by Buemi for the case where the distribution is of class (A) and of type (s0,1,1,…,1,2) with s0=0 or 1.
